It is time for U16 Balkan Championship - Women in Vrnjacka Banja

Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia, March 09, 2021. After the conclusion of the U17 Balkan Championship – Men, which ended by Bulgaria’s glory, Vrnjacka Banja is ready to host another Balkan Championship. Alongside with hosts Serbia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Romania and Turkey will take part in the U16 Balkan Championship – Women.

The tournament will serve as BVA zonal qualifier for this year’s CEV U16 Volleyball European Championship 2021 - Women. The champion of the Balkans will book its place in the final round of #EuroVolleyU16W that is due to take place in Hungary and Slovakia from July 10 to 18. 

On the first day of the championship, Turkey defeated Romania in straight sets while Serbian team overcame North Macedonia with the same scoreline.

Serbia - North Macedonia: 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-12)
