Fifth Supercup trophy for Vizura

Ruma, Serbia, October 26, 2018. Serbia’s powerhouse Vizura RUMA claimed their fifth Supercup title in six years after beating Zeleznicar LAJKOVAC in five sets (19-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-17, 15-12) in front of a home crowd of 500 spectators.

Vizura emerged victorious after coming back from two sets down. Zeleznicar were dominant in the early stages of the match, but after that, they lost control of the game in favour of the home side, with the hosts making the most out of it and completing their comeback in the tiebreaker.

Mr Bogdan Mamuzic, member of the Executive Board in the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, presented Andjela Veselinovic, team captain of Vizura, with the trophy for the winners of the Supercup.

Mr Goran Cato, member of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia Assembly, presented Ivana Lazarevic, team captain of Zeleznicar, with the consolation trophy for the losers.

Mr Zoran Radojicic, President of Vizura, and Petar Bogunovic, member of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia Assembly and President of the regional Volleyball Federation of Vojvodina awarded the players of Vizura with the gold medals.

Mr Zlatko Petrovic, member of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia Assembly, and Mr Igor Miljkovic, member of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia Assembly and Secretary General in the regional Volleyball Association of Belgrade, were in charge of presenting the players of Zeleznicar with the silver medals.
