CEV Youth Beach Volleyball Summer Camp a major hit in Albania

Durrës, Albania, September 11, 2017. The Albanian Volleyball Federation (FSHV) organised this past weekend the second edition of the “CEV Youth Beach Volleyball Summer Camp”, which this year took place in Durrës.

After completing the 2017 edition of the national Beach Volleyball championship, the FSHV was busy with the delivery of this additional event, with as many as 120 young boys and girls, from all over the Balkan country, participating and at the same time showing their love and passion for the game. The event included competitions in as many as four age groups (U12, U14, U16 and U18), with the young participants playing Beach Volleyball and making this day a truly special one for all involved.

“We want to thank all those who participated in this great event. We have seen many young boys and girls, who showed their love for the sport, not only by playing Volleyball but also by having a nice time together. Many thanks also to the CEV, who showed once again their support to our Federation, as we continue to work together to grow the game and take it to the next level. All the participants enjoyed playing Volleyball and this a great victory for all of us, because we reached our goals,” said Albens Vokopola, Secretary General of the Albanian Volleyball Federation.

This event will continue next year with the addition of a technical course addressed to Beach Volleyball coaches, in order to grow the game and lay the foundations for the improvement of the summer activities organised in Albania.
